Instructions for use

best fit line

So how do you use a BFLR?

Use the Best Fit Line Ruler to draw out your graph axes and then plot the points onto it.

Lay your BFLR on the graph so that it covers as many points as possible. Then line it up as accurately as possible so that there are as many points above the central groove as there are below it. And make them as close as possible to the central groove. Groovy.

Once you’re happy with the position, slide your pencil along the slot to mark on the best fit line. Remove the BFLR and admire your handiwork.
